Emma Systems is ISO/IEC 27001 Certified

In January 2026, Emma Systems completed the ISO/IEC 27001 certification process and received the certificate following a thorough and professional audit carried out by DNV.

The certification covers all Emma entities in Norway, Denmark and the UK.

For us, ISO 27001 is not about a certificate on the wall. It is about structure, quality and trust in our day to day work. Information security, access control and risk management are built into how we develop, operate and continuously improve our solutions.

For our customers, this provides added assurance. Data is handled securely, consistently and in line with internationally recognised standards. As customs data becomes increasingly business critical and collaboration across systems and partners continues to grow, this matters more than ever.

ISO 27001 is not something many companies achieve. Only around 200 organisations in Norway are certified, and fewer than 100,000 worldwide. We reached this milestone in under 11 months, thanks to focused effort, clear priorities and strong teamwork across the company.

Our brilliant “ISO task force”

This achievement reflects a genuine team effort. While a dedicated ” ISO task force” led the work, the result was made possible by contributions from across the organisation. People took responsibility, collaborated openly and worked together to get things right.

The work does not stop here. ISO 27001 is about continuous improvement, not a finish line. We take this responsibility seriously and will keep doing the work that earns our customers’ trust every single day.

Of course there was cake too!
